POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

We ask that you arrive at the Salon 5 minutes early for your appointment, so that you are relaxed and ready for your therapist at the appointed time.

 

Deposits & Cancellations

You will be asked to make a 20% deposit when booking your treatment, your appointment cannot be confirmed unless this has been paid. We request 48 hours minimum notice to be given if you are unable to make your appointment or if you would like to reschedule. If 48 hours notice is given you will be refunded your deposit. Your deposit will not be refunded for any cancellations or rescheduled appointments if it doesn't fit within the 48 hour time frame and you will be charged a 50% late cancellation fee. For  no - show appointments you will be charged 50% of your treatment price, this has to be paid before you can book in again for an appointment.

 

Patch Testing

Patch tests for some of our treatments are essential. A patch test is a quick shot of the products or equipment on a small section of skin around the treatment area. It's main purpose is for us and yourself to assess if any side affects appear, they will be very minimal, hence the reason for a small test area.

After a patch test, your therapist will then know whether they can proceed safely with your treatment.

 

Late Arrivals

We regret that if you arrive late for your appointment, this may decrease the time of your treatment. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may have to reschedule your appointment for another time.

 

Client Information

On your first visit to Total Balance, you will be asked to complete a client record card. Please remember to keep us informed of any changes to your personal information, particularly with your health/medication or special requirements to insure we can provide the best care and service to you every time you visit us.

 

Personal Belongings

We regret that we are unable to accept any responsibility for the loss or damage to personal belongings at the salon.

 

Mobile Phones

We ask you to please switch your mobile phones to silent or vibrate, to be respectful to other clients in the Salon.

Refunds

We regret to inform you that we cannot refund any treatments bought as a course. All treatments must be paid for in full at the time of receiving them.
